The main results of the study. It was found that the indicators of the level of socio-psychological adaptation and subjectivity among college freshmen are significantly lower than among third-year students and university students. It was also found that according to the indicators of the level of subjective control, all college students, both 1 and 3 years old, have significantly lower indicators than 1 year university students after graduation. The conclusion is made about the different nature of adaptation in these two categories of young people. Adaptation occurs in both cases, but in college students the level of subjective control does not change. Practical relevance. The results obtained in the study can serve as a support for the design of a developing educational environment within the framework of the SPE system, aimed at increasing the subjectivity and internality of college students.
