The relevance of appeal to the heritage of K. D. Ushinsky in the process of professional training of lawyers

Annotation

The article gives examples of a natural appeal to the heritage of the outstanding domestic teacher K. D. Ushinsky in the preparation of legal specialists. The basis of observations is the activities of the Department of the Russian Language and Culture of Speech of the Russian State University of Justice (RSUP). The purpose of the work is to generalize and translate the practical experience accumulated by the named department based on the use of pedagogical ideas and artistic and journalistic texts of K. D. Ushinsky. Methodology and methods. The study is based on the works of K. D. Ushinsky, as well as publications of modern authors and contains a system-functional analysis of pedagogical experience, using the methods of observation, description, synthesis. The main results of the study. The author presents the educational potential of the works of K. D. Ushinsky in the preparation of modern lawyers. Scientific novelty. The article demonstrates the possibilities of using the heritage of K. D. Ushinsky for the personal and professional development of future lawyers. Within the walls of the University of Law, this seems to be especially important, because K. D. Ushinsky received a law degree. Practical significance. The results of the study can be useful for organizing the educational process in the field of secondary and higher professional education, and can also be applied in the activities of specialists who are associated with jurisprudence and pedagogy. Approbation of the results of the work was the presentation of the author with a report at the XXVII Interregional Pedagogical Readings «K. D. Ushinsky and Russian national education. Historical Lessons, Ideas and Modernity», which were held at the Moscow City Pedagogical University as part of the project «Events in honor of the 200th anniversary of the birth of one of the founders of Russian pedagogy Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky».
