Annotation
The article examines the impact of physical and psycho-emotional stress on athletes, emphasizing that they face both external pressure (from coaches, parents and fans) and internal conflicts related to their own expectations and ambitions. It is mentioned that injuries can significantly affect a sports career, causing stress and fear of recurrence of injuries, which in turn reduces concentration and results. It is also noted that many athletes hide their injuries due to the fear of losing a place in the team or letting down their partners. Teachers and coaches play a key role in the recovery process, but their influence can be both positive and negative. The problems of insufficient detection and prevention of injuries remain relevant, which is associated with pedagogical factors and lack of resources. An important aspect is the study of the internal picture of the disease, which includes a subjective perception of one’s health, emotional reactions, understanding of symptoms and attitude to treatment. Understanding the mechanism of how types of response to the disease are built will help to identify the most vulnerable groups of athletes and improve prevention and support measures in the recovery process. The article studies the types of reactions in different groups of athletes (football players, volleyball players, basketball players, swimmers, wrestlers, gymnasts, dancers). The purpose of the article: to analyze the internal picture of the disease in students of a sports college in order to identify the most common reactions to injuries Methodology and methods: the study used such methods as analysis and generalization of domestic and foreign literature, as well as practical research methods related to the survey of students. Methods of mathematical statistics were used. Main results of the study: the study revealed that the most common reactions are paranoid, sensitive, anognosic, euphoric. The frequency of reactions for each group of athletes was also identified. Scientific novelty of the study: there are almost no studies in foreign and domestic scientific literature that cover the topic of the internal picture of the disease in athletes and students of sports colleges.
Practical significance: the materials of the article can be useful for physical education teachers, teachers of sports colleges and coaches. The knowledge gained can be used to prevent injuries and prevent recurrent injuries.
