Annotation

The article uses the method of comparative analysis in the literature classes in the SVE system when studying the work of L. Tolstoy and I. Goncharov. The purpose of the article is to identify the practical significance of comparative analysis in lit-erature classes for the study of literary texts. Methodology and methods: analysis, comparison, classification. The main results of the study. The article gives an example of the practical application of the comparative analysis of works of art. Scientific novelty. Based on the analysis of the works of Russian researchers, the work identi-fies and describes common themes and motives in the work of L. Tolstoy and I. Goncharov. Practical relevance. The proposed methodology provides the possibility of a deeper and more effective artistic analysis in the study of literature.
