Professional training ground as a model for organizing mentoring in vocational education

Annotation

The article is devoted to the problem of mentoring in vocational education, the introduction of which into the educational process allows solving the actual problems of practical orientation of vocational education, successful employment and professional adaptation of students. The results of an empirical study are presented, showing a number of problems of understanding and interaction faced by representatives of social partners and students in the framework of mentoring, as an option for their solution, the creation of a professional training ground is proposed as a model of an innovative interaction platform that allows forming stable «mentor – student» pairs in various professions and specialties. The purpose of the article. Substantiation of the effectiveness and description of the model of a professional training ground as a technology of interaction between an educational organization and employers on mentoring issues. Methodology and methods. The study used methods such as the study and analysis of regulatory documents, generalization and analysis of pedagogical experience, as well as methods of practical research related to conducting questionnaires of students and employers on mentoring. The main results of the study. In the course of an empirical study, contradictions have been identified that hinder the effective organization of mentoring in vocational education and training, a model of professional polygons aimed at eliminating them has been proposed and described. Scientific novelty. A model of professional polygons has been developed and tested as a technology for interaction between an educational organization and employers on mentoring issues. Practical relevance. The materials of the article may be useful to the deputy directors of educational work, teachers, heads of practical training of students, employers for the implementation of practice-oriented training of students of vocational education.
