The role of written speech in the context of development of psychological readiness for higher and professional education in the perspective of a cultural-historical approach

Annotation

The article provides an analysis of the phenomenon of written speech, which acts as such a universal tool, in the process of mastering which a number of complex human cultural abilities that are in demand in the context of higher and secondary vocational education are significantly restructured. Based on the genetic method of research proposed by L. S. Vygotsky, the article reveals the mechanisms of work of developed forms of thinking and consciousness, organically related to the practices of creating written texts. At the end of the article, the results of a diagnostic study are presented, showing the connection between some aspects of logical and project thinking of Institute of Secondary Vocational Education named after K. D. Ushinsky students with the development of written speech. The purpose of the article is to reveal the not always obvious educational potential of written speech and the psychological consequences that follow from mastering it. Methodology and methods. Among the main research methods can be named psycholinguistic analysis, genetic comparison, theoretical reconstruction and extrapolation, empirical psychological diagnostics. The methodological basis of the study is the basic conceptual provisions of the cultural-historical approach and the logic of the genetic method. The main results of the study. The results of theoretical analysis and diagnostic research are presented, showing the connection between some aspects of logical and design thinking of students at the Institute of Secondary Vocational Education named after K. D. Ushinsky MCU with the development of written speech. Scientific novelty. Based on the genetic method of research proposed by L. S. Vygotsky, the article reveals the mechanisms of work of developed forms of thinking and consciousness, organically related to the practices of creating written texts. Practical relevance. Research described in the article may serve as a reason for rethinking some modern trends in education and become the basis for revising the features of the use of writing practices at various stages of education.
