Annotation
This article explores the challenge of teaching phrasal verbs in the English language to students in vocational education. A confident command of modern English is impossible without mastering constructions with postpositions, i. e., phrasal verbs. Phrasal verbs are an integral part of the English language, playing a crucial role in adding nuance and idiomatic expressions to everyday communication, as well as simplifying communication in English. Currently, an effective methodology that could significantly ease the teaching of phrasal verbs has not been developed. This article aims to seek an optimal approach and examine the importance of mastering phrasal verbs to simplify communication in English.
The purpose: To identify the most effective methodology for teaching phrasal verbs to vocational education students.
The methodological Basis. The article is based on research conducted by Russian and foreign specialists. The study employs methods such as literature review and analysis, application of various pedagogical techniques, observation, and comparison.
The main results of the Study. Development of a step-by-step system for teaching phrasal verbs.
The scientific Novelty. Establishing the effectiveness of a systematic approach to teaching.
Practical Significance. Application of the developed teaching system in practical English lessons in educational organizations implementing secondary vocational education programs.
