Annotation
The article examines the features of adhering to the principles of a healthy lifestyle by students aged 19 to 21. The study is based on the results of a questionnaire survey
of students of the Moscow City Pedagogical University. The article draws conclusions about the most common habits, barriers to a healthy lifestyle, and the level of use of digital resources for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Purpose. Is to identify and analyze the level of adherence to healthy lifestyle principles among students aged 19–21, as well as to assess their awareness of healthy lifestyle practices and the influence of digital technologies and media on health-related behavior. Methodology and methods. The study is based on an analysis of scientific literature and the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among students aged 19–21 (n = 50) from various colleges and universities. Quantitative and qualitative methods of data analysis were applied. Main results. The findings indicate that although most students consider themselves to follow a healthy lifestyle, their actual adherence to its principles is inconsistent. Physical activity levels are relatively satisfactory, while sleep patterns and nutrition remain the most problematic areas. Social media and digital technologies exert a moderate influence on students’ attitudes toward a healthy lifestyle.
Scientific novelty. The study provides up-to-date empirical data on health-related behavior of students aged 19–21 and reveals the role of digital technologies and media in shaping attitudes toward healthy lifestyle practices. Practical significance. The results can be used in the development and implementation of health promotion and preventive programs in educational institutions, as well as in organizing targeted activities aimed at improving students’ lifestyle habits.
